Ferguson Enterprises, LLC. Hiring for Master Data (MDM) Specialist – Remote at Houston, Texas Full Time

Job Description:

We have two excellent opportunities on our Enterprise Data team ! Our Master Data Specialists work cross functionally with other areas of the business to support the Customer Enterprise Data Department.

The two roles support the following:

• The data of Salesforce ; and

• The implementation of a MDM technology .

These individuals will serve as the authorities on customer structure, customer attribution and collaborate closely with the IT MDM technical team. These individuals will work with key business partners as it relates to the customer domain.

Positive relationship building, interpersonal skills, progressive thinking and being able to tell a story based on data analysis are instrumental to success. These individuals must be curious, promote trust and take ownership in their work.

Please Note: This role is 100% remote. Candidates need to be available for east coast hours (EST) for required meetings and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Research, validate, and standardize data to support customer needs and company growth objectives

• Communicates internally and with third parties to provide feedback and recommend business process changes

• Apply critical thinking in reviewing vendor/third-party provided data in various formats for accuracy

• Understand internal and external customer data needs and expectations for information

• Ensure data collected supports the needs of partners

• Perform recurring and ad hoc audits to ensure enrichment of key data gaps and to support online presentation

• Support channel-specific business needs

• Perform sophisticated ad hoc audits to identify discrepant/invalid data

• Recommend business processes and process changes to ensure population of valid and standardized data points

• Maintain quality control processes for handling data

• Serve as gatekeeper for enriched content

• Assist in training and development of entry-level associates

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent work experience required

• 1-2 years relevant work experience required

• Minimum of 3 years experience working with/manipulating data required

• Solid understanding of and experience working in an MDM and/or PIM system required

• Proficiency in Excel required

• Demonstrated ability to complete established goals with limited mentorship

• Exhibit attention to detail

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Exhibits awareness of data governance/management concepts
