IT Business Analyst
Location: Remote U.S.
Your key responsibilities:
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Managing small to medium-sized projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
- Organizing, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings.
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
- Ensuring project deadlines are met.
- Providing administrative support as needed.
- Undertaking project tasks as required.
- Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Review information and produce expert trend analysis to identify volumes and trends.
- Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
- Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.
- Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in Computer Information Systems or demonstrated equivalent (education and/or equivalent work experience)
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work with management, customers, and vendors to resolve problems.
- ITIL foundations certification or equivalent proven knowledge and experience
- High attention to detail and capable of seeing patterns in data
- Ability to create reporting dashboards and analytics to provide insight and achieve the goals of the organization
Technical & Systems Experience
- Experience with ServiceNow preferred
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with reporting related to Changes, Incidents, Tasks, SLAs and CMDBs
- Project Management skills
- Basic managed services background and understanding including Service Level Agreements, managed services contracts, and vendor management.
