Impact Futures Hiring for Quality Director – Education Job at Remote , UK Full Time

The Role:

Due to fantastic business growth and internal promotion, we are recruiting a Quality Director. You will be responsible for the delivery and quality assurance of all Apprenticeship programmes delivered by the business. You will also be responsible for the curriculum. This will involve managing a team and implementing high-quality coaching and assessment strategies whilst also adhering to quality assurance processes that validate the quality of induction and progress delivery. The Director of Quality will play the leading role as our Ofsted nominee and be responsible for achieving and maintaining a positive outcome. You will also be a member of the Senior Leadership Team and will report into the COO. This is a remote role but with occasional national travel required.

You will:

• You will inspire, motivate, support and challenge the team and exceed all agreed Quality & Delivery KPI’s
• The role will centre around all our programme quality assurance, our governance structures and reporting, and the relationships with our regulators.
• As a member of the senior leadership team you will also support the wider business with day to day leadership of the team.
• Subject matter expert for all areas of the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework (EIF), particularly Quality of Education and under-take the role of Ofsted nominee.
• Help define our apprenticeship and Traineeship coaching approach, using innovative, engaging and digitally-led learning, and ensure consistent high-quality delivery of this to each and every apprentice.
• Ensure the internal quality team are developed and conduct an activity to the required standard.
• Lead and manage internal curriculum development team, supporting the development of curriculum that meets the needs of our employers and organisation.
• Critically review and validate Quality Manager reports and judgements across all Quality assurance activity including but not limited to sampling and observations.
• Drive continuous improvement across programme delivery, coaching and assessment activity
• Lead on our Self-Assessment Review and ensure Quality Improvement Plans drive impact to meet the desired improvement objectives.
• Contribute and build on our end point assessment (EPA) strategy and ensure implementation working in conjunction with the Operations Team.
• Host regular quality meetings to celebrate success, share good practice, address developments and provide updates as required.
• Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement/CPD through setting robust quality improvement objectives with managers and monitoring progress to ensure achievement.
• Ensure that all Safeguarding / prevent requirements are met. Act as the DSL for the organisation.

Skills and experience required:

• Experience of working at senior levels within a FE & Skills provider, driving consistently outstanding quality performance
• Experience specifically with apprenticeship standards & Employability
• Experience of leading teams and managing staff
• Detailed understanding and experience of apprenticeship, AEB and Traineeship programme delivery
• Experience of overseeing and leading effective quality assurance across the delivery function, and as a result driving overall quality performance along with improved apprentice experience, outcomes and progression towards career aspirations
• Experience of delivering consistently outstanding coaching
• Strong communications skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Experience of KPI Management and data analysis
• Experience of client management including presentation skills
• Knowledge of Safeguarding / prevent requirements
