Organize the patient menus to ensure accuracy of diet order, timeliness of meal service, and smooth food service operations. Responsible for the production of meal tickets, nourishment labels, and production tallies for patient menus. Responds to interdepartmental telephone inquiries, maintains all office equipment and supply inventory for nutrition office.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training And Experience
Grade 12 plus one year’s recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Completion of Level 2 Food Safe program.
Skills And Abilities
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to deal with others effectively.
Ability to organize work.
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
Ability to operate related equipment.
Ability to keyboard at 45 wpm
