Luxe Stay Holiday Homes Looking for Accommodation Manager at Queenstown, Otago Full Time

A premium holiday home management service in Queenstown. We provide an all inclusive service from cleaning, guest management to property care and maintenance.  

We are now looking for a full time Accommodation Manager to join our growing team to help with guest services and property care/maintenance.

• Having good hands-on knowledge regarding property maintenance & repair.
• Highly professional in guest communication with your excellent written and verbal communication skill.
• Very result driven with a “Get It Done” attitude.
• Excellent problem solving stills – making decisions on the spot considering all information
• Able to coordinate and liaise with different department within the organization as well as external trade people with your outstanding communication skill.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Guest service: Calls/SMS/Email messages. Attending to critical guest queries 24/7, attending to normal guest queries during work hours.
• Carry out property maintenance work (this will be a major component of this position) 
• For more complicated maintenance tasks or jobs that require professional qualification, coordinate trade people – obtaining quote, coordinating date and access, cleaning up after trade people’s visit if needed.
• Property inspection to ensure all chattels, fittings, furniture and appliance are functioning as intended.
• Carry out basic lawn maintenance – mowing; trimming garden; waste processing
• Keep track of cleanliness of property and communication cleanliness issues to team.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• New Zealand driver’s license (essential).
• Professional verbal and written communication in English (essential)
• Customer service experience (bonus)
• Handyman experience (bonus) – e.g. if you’re a regular customer of Mitre10 or Bunnings Warehouse.
• Good computer skills. (bonus)
