MK Lawson & Son Ltd are a leading and well established HVAC commissioning company in Wellington.  Our office is based in Lower Hutt, most of our work is in the Wellington CBD and occasionally around the central North Island, the South Island and the Pacific.

MKL are looking for someone to join their team at an entry or intermediate level.  First and foremost we are looking for people with a positive ‘can do’ attitude. 

We are looking for someone that has experience in a relevant field and can apply their skillset to this role, someone that is a graduate engineer & is looking to start their career, or someone that has a natural technical ability.

The role involves a combination of site and office based work.  MKL are primarily involved in HVAC commissioning, system surveys, investigations, troubleshooting, client liason and production of documentation.  MKL also commission Medical Gas systems, test HEPA filters and validate clean rooms.

You’ll also want to have an attention to detail, a practical approach to problem solving, be mechanically minded & have a current New Zealand Drivers licence.

Optional but NOT required is a National Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical), Bachelor of Engineering (Mechatronics or Mechanical) or similar international qualifications.  As above, a natural technical ability is also a skill that would be of great benefit in this role.
