This permanent role is available August 2022.
We welcome applications from candidates interested in working part-time hours or job-sharing arrangements.
The role
The University of Exeter has recently developed an innovative new MA Publishing programme based in the Department of English and Creative Writing. This programme places particular emphasis on cultivating excellence through industry connections, research and the acquisition of professional skills. In addition, it is a programme committed to making positive change in the industry: embedding issues concerning access and representation through the curriculum, moving the study of global publishing practices beyond Euro-American models, and reinforcing Exeter as a UNESCO City of Literature and a growing hub for literary and creative industries in the South West. The successful applicant will have an independent research programme and industry connections that will strengthen and complement this work.
